How to request a 2025 Nov/Dec WASSCE Private certificate online
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) says candidates who sit for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination for Private, also known as the Nov/Dec examination, can request or apply for their certificate online. In this blog post, we will show you how to apply for the WASSCE Private certificate online
According to WAEC, candidates after the request for the WASSCE for Private certificates will be dispatched to the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) Office of their choice for collection.
“Candidates are also informed that the certificates for private candidates will be printed only on request and should be collected within 48 hours,” WAEC said in a blog post sighted by Pretertiary.com.
Documents needed for WASSCE Private certificate issuance
For the issuance of a certificate, the applicant will be required to provide the following:
1. Your Name (in full as used in the examination)
2. The Name, Month, and Year of Examination
3. Index Number
4. Date of Birth
5. Telephone Number
6. Email Address (Should be active)
According to the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), prospective candidates will be required to produce a valid identification document when collecting their WASSCE for Private certificates.
How to fill WASSCE private online Certificate form
1. Visit WASSCE certificate request portal
2. Enter surname
3. Enter Other names (if any)
4. Enter email address
5. Enter phone number
6. Enter contact Address
7. Enter Index number
8. Select Examination ( WASSCE Nov/Dec)
9. Select Examination Year (Eg. 2025)
10. Select certificate collection centre (Eg. Kumasi branch office)
11. Click on the Submit & Proceed to make payment button to send the WASSCE certificate application request to WAEC for processing.
How to check WASSCE private certificate request status
1. Visit WASSCE certificate request status portal
2. Enter Invoice number
3. Enter Index number
4. Select Examination (WASSCE Nov/Dec)
5. Select Examination Year (Eg, 2025)
6. Click on the Check Status button.
How to check WASSCE private results online
1. Visit WASSCE private result portal
2. Enter your Index Number
3. Select the Type of Examination (e.g., WASSCE).
4. Select your Examination Year (eg. 2025)
5. Enter Date of Birth (Day, Month, and Year)
6. Enter the Serial Number found on the Voucher.
7. Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Voucher, eg, 012345678912.
8. Confirm your Index Number and Examination Year. This is to ensure that your examination information is correct.
9. Click on Submit and wait for the display in the pop-up window. This may take several minutes.
How to verify WASSCE Private results online
1. Visit WASSCE result verification portal
2. Enter your 9-digit Index Number.
3. Select the Type of Examination (e.g., WASSCE Private).
4. Select your Examination Year (eg, 2025)
5. Enter the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of your Scratch card.
6. Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card, eg, 012345678912.
7. Confirm your Index Number and Examination Year. This is to ensure that your examination information is correct.
8. Enter the Email Address for which verification is required.
9. Re-enter Email Address to confirm if the email entered is correct or matches
10. Click on Submit and wait for the display in the pop-up window. This may take several minutes.
