Primetime gives ‘venue’ for 2025 National Science and Maths Quiz

The national championship of the 2025 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) will be held in Cape Coast, in the Central Region of Ghana, at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Primetime Limited, the producers of the competition, has announced.

Scheduled to take place in October this year, the preliminary stage will be held on October 13 to 17, one-eight on October 19 to 21, the quarter-final on October 23 to 25, the semi-final on October 27, and the grand finale on October 30, 2025.

The new entrant Senior High Schools to participate in the 2025 NSMQ competition are Abomusu STEM SHS, Agona SHTS, Akro SHTS, Anum Presby SHS, Attafuah SHTS, Juaboso SHS, and Mankessim SHTS

The rest are Ngleshie Amanfro SHS, Nyakrom SHTS, Our Lady of Lourdes Girls’ SHS, Prampram SHS, Presby SHS, Adeiso Senya SHS, T.I. AMASS, Salaga, and Wovenu SHTS.

Last year, the preliminary and eighth stages of the Science and Mathematics Quiz took place at the Centre for National Culture (CNC), UCC Auditorium 900, and School of Graduate Studies (SGS) Auditorium.
