2026 BECE results release: Where to BECE results checker cards in Ghana
While the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is working towards releasing the provisional Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results online this month, many students who sat for the national examination are searching for shortcodes and websites to buy the results checker card they will use to check their results.
The result voucher or scratch card, which can be purchased at https://buycheckercodes.com.gh, is a slip that holds the PIN, which is a 12-digit number and serial number required to check the 2026 provisional BECE results at the WAEC official BECE result checking portal https://eresults.waecgh.org.
According to WAEC, a student can check his or her Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results up to a maximum of 3 (three) times, 1 unit for each use, with 1 (one) scratch card.
To check further after exhausting the 3 (three) units, a student will need to buy another scratch card by dialling *713*3998# or *713*5388# on his phone, which will entitle you to another 3 (three) units.
Can a student use one scratch card to check more than one BECE result? No! A student may only use one scratch card for one Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) result. To check, confirm or verify another result of interest, you will require a new scratch card.
If a student misuses a scratch card by attempting to use it against another result different from the first, he or she will be penalised as having used the card and will be presented with the appropriate error message.
In Ghana, the easiest way to buy the BECE result checker card using mobile money is via the USSD shortcodes *713*3998# or *713*5388#. This method works on mobile phones and does not require internet access.
Alternatively, you can purchase the BECE result voucher from West African Examinations Council (WAEC) approved outlets, including https://buycheckercodes.com.ghand pay with Mobile Money on any network (MTN, AT, or Telecel).
After payment, you will receive your PIN and serial number. Once you have bought the voucher, keep your PIN and serial number safe and use them later when the results are officially released online.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the Head of Public Affairs at the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), Mr John Kapi, has said the 2026 BECE results are expected to be released by July 15, 2026.

1. Visit the BECE result checking portal
2. Enter your Index number
3. Re-enter the Index number to confirm if it’s correct
4. Select Exam type (Eg, BECE School or BECE Private)
5. Choose the Exam year (2026)
6. Enter your Serial number (Eg, 180000000001)
7. Enter PIN (e.g., A1B2C3D4E5F9)
8. Tick the Captcha and
9. Click on the submit button and wait for a new window to display your 2026 BECE result.
